The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission announced that the Minister for Industry and Science has decided to accept its recommendations to maintain the anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duties (CVD) on zinc-coated (galvanized) steel products, an affirmative determination of the second sunset reviews.

Therefore, the AD duty rate on China,  China ‘s Taiwan, and South Korea is maintained at 0-20.6%, 2.4-28.2%, and 2.4-13.7%, respectively. The CVD rate on China is kept at 22.8%. These measures continued in force after August 7, 2023, the expiry date.

The products involved are flat-rolled products of iron and non-alloy steel or alloyed steel, with a width less than 600mm and equal to or greater than 600mm, plated or coated with zinc, classified under 7210.49.00.55, 7210.49.00.56, 7210.49.00.57, 7210.49.00.58, 7212.30.00.61, 7225.92.00.38, and 7226.99.00.71.
