Galvanized Trunking Cable Tray is a fully enclosed cable management system manufactured from cold-rolled steel sheet with galvanized surface treatment. It is designed for supporting, protecting, and routing electrical power cables, control cables, and communication cables. The fully closed structure provides excellent dustproof, anti-interference, and anti-corrosion performance for indoor and outdoor electrical wiring projects.

Hot Dip Galvanized (HDG / Post-galvanized) Trunking Cable Tray

The finished tray is completely immersed in molten zinc at high temperature after fabrication. The zinc coating is thick, uniform, and covers both internal and external surfaces.
  • Coating thickness: ≥85μm
  • Corrosion resistance: Excellent, salt spray resistance up to 1000+ hours
  • Service life: 30+ years in harsh environments
  • Application: Outdoor projects, coastal areas, chemical plants, power plants, industrial corrosive environments

Pre-galvanized (Mill Galvanized)

Steel sheets are galvanized first, then cut and bent into tray shapes. The coating is thin and smooth with uniform surface texture.

  • Corrosion resistance: Moderate, suitable for dry environments

Galvanized trunking cable tray features high load capacity, low cost and good EMI shielding, ideal for indoor use and heavy power cables. Yet it is heavy and may rust if the zinc coating gets damaged.
Aluminum type is lightweight, corrosion-resistant and heat-dissipating, easy to install for humid, coastal or high-temperature areas and weak current cables. It costs more, has lower bearing capacity and scratches easily
