C100S Steel Strip Coil Manufacturer and Supplier | RAYIWELL
C100S is a high-carbon chromium spring steel that conforms to German standard EN10132-4:2000. It is commonly used to manufacture high-strength, high-elasticity springs and elastic elements.
C100S is a high-carbon spring steel, also known as 1.1274 or AISI 1095, prized for its high tensile strength, hardness, and elasticity after heat treatment.
C100S Steel Strip coil is used in applications requiring high elasticity and strength, such as various types of springs, feeler gauges, and precision cutting tools.
CS100 is not corrosion-resistant and requires proper care to prevent rust.
C100S Spring Steel is a carbon spring steel which are used widely for springs, saws, clutch plates and valves etc. CS100 can be cut by laser, waterjet etc.
It is generally used where higher hardnesses and wear resistance is required or where a higher strength is required in lower thickness material. Common equivalents are CS95, 1095, CS100, XC90.

Carbon content, ranging from 0.95% to 1.05%, is the dominant element determining the high-strength properties of steel.
Silicon content, between 0.15% and 0.35%, enhances strength and oxidation resistance.
Manganese content, between 0.30% and 0.60%, improves hot working properties.
Phosphorus and sulfur content are both ≤0.025% to reduce hot and cold brittleness.
Chromium content ≤0.40% enhances hardenability and corrosion resistance.
Furthermore, molybdenum content ≤0.10% and nickel content ≤0.40% improve hot strength, tempering stability, and corrosion resistance.
